Adventures in food dehydrating : Andrew James Food Dehydrator review

Having already posted about wanting a food dehydrator and needing opinions of which to get , I googled and couldn't find anything reasonably priced - until I looked on Amazon ( which I use for almost everything from cleaning stuff , food , books, toys, everything ) at only £37 I thought it was worth trying and some of the reviews were really positive .

I'm pleased to say its such a good buy! A total bargain and came really quick ! ( 2 days later via courier ) Its really sturdy, durable , and well built. I was wary as its plastic vs the metal ones, but it's brilliant, easy to clean , and whisper quiet !

We used it last night , courgettes, parsnips, carrots, bananas ,strawberries, tomatoes, and apples. The boys all loved them .

Seth really liked the parsnip chip crisps , he said they were like home made tyrells crisps .

Opeie seemed to enjoy the courgettes the most , where as Pauly and I liked everything .

Next time we do them we will slice them slightly thicker though !

I'm going to make kale crisp chips and beetroot slices this week also. Very exciting !
